Twenty-six percent of homebuyers are willing to pay more for a home on a cul-de-sac, according to a National Association of Realtors buyers' preferences survey. Here are three homes priced in the mid-400s that are on cul-de-sacs.

PLACE/PRICE: Ballwin, Mo/$449,500

PROPERTY TAX*: $3,965 per year

THE PROPERTY: 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths with 3,076 square feet

DESCRIPTION: This 1989 two-story brick home has an updated kitchen and a four-season sunroom with skylights and a pine-vaulted ceiling. The great room has a full masonry fireplace, built-ins and a hardwood floor.

NOTABLE: There is a large playground adjacent to a multi-level cedar deck and brick patio that overlooks woodlands. A finished walkout lower level has an office and a full bath.
