Here is a look at three Telluride residences below that price.

- Telluride, Colo./$995,000
- Telluride, Colo./$895,000
PLACE/PRICE: Telluride, Colo./$1.292 million
PROPERTY TAX*: $1,564
THE PROPERTY: A 1,668-square-foot home with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, on approximately .13 acres that are a 2- block walk from a ski lift.
DESCRIPTION: This home, built in 1981, is located in an enclave of Victorian-style houses. The residence offers views of Coonskin Run, Box Canyon and Red Cliffs. Features include modern appliances, Saltillo tile in the kitchen, a gas fireplace in the living room, wool carpeting throughout and a backyard deck.
NOTABLE: The property is just a half-block's walk to a ski-slope shuttle and seven walkable blocks to the town center. While this home doesn't have granite counters and other high-end features expected in homes of this caliber, it comes fully furnished and is newer than much of the Victorian-era housing in this historic mining town, says Glen Lester, a broker associate with Alpine Lodging & Real Estate.
